La Manga Club to welcome 2019 with 'Mardi Gras' Party

23 October 2018

La Manga Club will be conjuring up all the atmosphere of New Orleans and its world-famous Mardi Gras festival to help guests celebrate the new year in flamboyant style.

Delivering live music to inspire the spirit of the party-loving American city and its emblematic carnival, the Spanish resort’s ‘Mardi Gras’ New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner is just one of the themed events that it is staging to help couples and families welcome 2019 in memorable fashion.

Taking place in La Manga Club’s grand ballroom, the Mardi Gras black-tie evening promises to be a sparkling affair with fine dining, live music and entertainment all included. After being treated to a cocktail reception, guests will sit down to a lavish five-course gourmet dinner accompanied with select wines and an open bar with premium bands before a spectacular fireworks display at midnight.

People seeking a taste of the Far East can enjoy the finest Oriental cuisine at La Manga Club’s Asia restaurant, while an authentic Italian new year experience is guaranteed at Luigi’s restaurant. A selection of wines, cava, beer and soft drinks are included at both venues before the party continues after midnight in the resort’s Royal Bar.

Accommodation is provided in La Manga Club’s five-star hotel, with prices based on two people sharing a room, and all packages also include breakfast, VAT and one additional dinner, plus access to the saunas, gym, steam rooms and indoor pool at the Wellness Centre to alienate any hangovers.

Set across an area of 1,400 acres, La Manga Club boasts unrivalled facilities as a sports and leisure destination including three 18-hole golf courses, a 28-court tennis centre and a 2,000sqm Wellness Centre. It also offers the choice of a five-star hotel, four-star serviced apartments and townhouses and more than 15 bars and restaurants.

Couples can enjoy two nights’ bed and breakfast hotel accommodation at La Manga Club this new year, including a ticket to the ‘Mardi Gras’ New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and an additional dinner, from €303 (approx £265) per person.
