Golfers visiting QHotels in even greater numbers

19 September 2017

More golfers than ever are booking to stay and play at QHotels' 10 UK golf resorts - that's according to data supplied by an industry monitor.

The figures, from UK-based HotStats, the only provider of a monthly hotel profit-and-loss benchmark service, show an impressive upturn in business, of more than seven per cent year on year, for the brand which has 10 golf resorts in England and Scotland and, consequently, is the UK's largest golf resort operator.

And QHotels is also bucking the trend, according to the HotStats figures, as the data shows a downturn in golf business at other resort operators.

QHotels' management feels the statistics provide further evidence that recent investment in facilities and staff at the resorts is continuing to boost customer confidence in the brand as it is outperforms its industry rivals.

Alan Foley, QHotels' group golf sales and marketing manager, said: "QHotels is continuing to reap the benefits of investing in its product and its people. This success shows that golfers - and non-golfers alike - have great confidence in the QHotels brand and are visiting our resorts in even greater numbers than before.

"We're encouraged by the growth in our figures, but certainly not content, so we will continue to do everything we can to make QHotels the first name people think of when looking to book a four-star golf break."

The multi-award-winning, four-star QHotels group offers championship-standard courses in unique resort locations including Slaley Hall - voted ‘Best Golf Hotel/Resort in the North of England' for the third successive year in the 2017 Today's Golfer Travel Awards and host of 18 European Tour and European Seniors Tour events - Belton Woods, Oulton Hall, Mottram Hall, and Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort.
