As of September 1st, Giles Greenwood, former Director of The International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) joins 1Golf Travel as Sales & Marketing Director.

Giles joined IAGTO in 2005 and the 12 years that followed saw IAGTO grow and develop enormously as the global trade organization of the golf tourism industry.

Joining 1Golf Travel, Giles will use his industry contacts and experience to help develop the business in this increasingly competitive golf travel marketplace.

Giles’ prominent role with IAGTO has given him extensive international experience, due to IAGTO’s membership base spanning close to 100 countries. Giles is also an experienced public speaker and presenter, having hosted the IAGTO Awards for the past 8 years, as well as speaking at numerous conventions, tourism roadshows and destination meetings.

Giles will be based at 1Golf’s office in London, alongside Commercial and Operations Director, Jonathan Griffiths.
