The 7th “Voting for Best Golf Course in Vietnam” event held by Vietnam Golf Magazine in coordination with Vietnam Golf Association, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the General Department of Sports has recently closed up with a Press Conference and Award Ceremony at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. Finally, among 30 golf courses of the voting, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip wins the highest title “Vietnam Best Golf Course 2017” for the second time.

The Voting for Best Golf Course in Vietnam is aimed at highlighting Vietnam’s golf courses and promoting Vietnam as an attractive destination for tourism and golf. It is received the attention of golf community, Vietnam and foreign golf investors and the support of the media and communications. The 7th Voting lasted from 1st January 2017 to 31st August 2017 and voters dropped their votes online at: www.vietnamgolfmagazine.net. The objects are 18-hole courses and over operating and launch officially before January 2017.

After gathering online votes, the Judges Panel members have visited most of the golf courses in order to give accurate evaluation and rating. The results of each of the judges are reported to the Judges Panel chaired by Vietnam Golf Association, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, General Department of Sports, Vietnam Golf Magazine, Local Golf Associations (Hanoi, Da Nang & Sai Gon) and international golf experts.

According to the latest count of the Judges Panel, there were over 86,000 votes this year to award “Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2017” and 18 other titles, reflecting the attention of golf community and the development of golf industry in Vietnam.

The evaluation of Vietnam Golf Magazine and the Judges Panel will be gained more attention from Vietnam and foreign golfers. The Voting has become more specialized and professional in organizing which will promote Vietnam as a fascinating golf destination, benefiting Vietnam tourism and criticize the quality of award-winning golf courses. In addition, the environmental protection is the aspect that the Judges Panel paid special attention to this year’s voting."
