Guest Room, Restaurant Renovations Complete at Mission Inn Resort & Club

27 March 2018

Mission Inn Resort & Club recently completed a nearly $3.3-million resort renovation, highlighted by a refreshment of its 66 king, 110 double queen, and 38 club suites guest accommodations (each club suite with mini-refrigerator), as well as new looks for multiple public areas and outdoor gathering spaces.

“The renovation added a fresh modern look to the classic Old Florida resort,” said S. Drew Toth, Director of Sales and Marketing. “Appealing enhancements were also made to our six outdoor venues.”

Investing more than $20,000 per guest room, Mission Inn installed custom furniture crafted by Artone that added new hardwood nightstands, dressers, desks, and king- or queen-size beds with Stearns & Foster mattress sets. The interior paint palette is beige and taupe accented with natural art work, coordinating bed linens with decorator pillows, new lamps, and new mahogany doors each with a key-card lock.

Each guest accommodation includes a Keurig coffee maker, bath area make-up mirror, amenity tray, chargers on the desk, Cubic Time clock with chargers, a new sliding glass door, and secondary lock system.

Also treated to an overhaul was the Mission Inn Golf Clubhouse, which now features a new color scheme with silver and bronze “Liquapearl” highlights and new carpeting in Nicker’s Restaurant, Club Room, Champions Room, and Golf Pro Shop.

La Hacienda—Mission Inn’s main dining room for breakfast and lunch—also now features new carpets as well as new buffet areas and counter tops. The Grand Ballroom, which accommodates up to 600, was refreshed with new wall coverings and chair rail detailing. All the hallways are freshly re-carpeted.

The four-season resort, located in the rolling hills of Central Florida’s Lake County, 35 minutes northwest of Orlando, is world-renowned for its classic Spanish Colonial architecture features, two championship golf courses, three restaurants, two lounges, and poolside bar. Recreational amenities include eight tennis courts, trap- and skeet-shooting range, jogging and bicycling trails, volleyball courts, outdoor pool and hydro-spa, fitness center, and a full-service nautical center with a 52-slip marina, fishing, and boating.

Mission Inn’s Spa Marbella, a 6,200-square-foot oasis of relaxation, is adjacent to the resort’s golf clubhouse and offers five private treatment rooms, two steam rooms, private separate lounges for men and women, plus three manicure and two pedicure stations.
