Caribbean resort pledges $12m to further extend luxury offering

The luxury Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic has pledged to invest a further $12 million to ensure it continues to offer a “unique premium product” to the UK travel trade.

Casa de Campo combines luxury accommodation with an extensive golf offering and other five-star facilities. It says all its proposed works will be finished in time for the peak winter season.

Improvements include a new Minitas family pool area and Minitas beach club, golf learning centre, golf lodge room renovations and a new Casa de Rio banqueting and events space.

Jason Kycek, Casa de Campo vice-president sales and marketing, said: “Our aim is to remain a leading luxury resort offering nothing short of world class facilities. In order to do that, it is paramount we continue to invest in the resort’s infrastructure and services.

“The resort will undergo further exciting enhancements over the next year, so we are confident we will continue to offer a unique premium product to the UK travel trade and cement our position as one of the world’s leading holiday destinations.”
