Trump Turnberry has further enhanced their golf offerings with the launch of a state-of-the-art Trackman Range, Trackman iO Simulator, and a new Academy Café, delivering an enhanced golf experience for visiting groups and tour operator clients.
The new facilities provide guests with year-round practice and indoor golfing options. The 11-bay covered Trackman Driving Range offers interactive ball-tracking, virtual golf, and fun challenges such as nearest-the-pin and long-drive contests. The Range can also be hired for groups, making it ideal for team bonding, friendly competitions, or post-round celebrations. The Trackman iO Simulator features over 300 world-class courses, including all three Turnberry layouts, which are currently being recreated in virtual form.
The Academy Café adds a social hub for golfers, serving food and drinks alongside live sport on TV, with service available directly on the Range and in the Simulator, giving groups the chance to relax and enjoy their time together both on and off the course.
These developments complement Turnberry’s renowned teaching facilities, headed by PGA professionals, and follow recent refinements to the Championship Ailsa course by architect Martin Ebert. Both the Ailsa and King Robert the Bruce are ranked among the world’s top 100 courses, supported by the Arran and Wee Links for shorter play.
The enhancements strengthen Turnberry as one of the UK’s leading golf resorts, combining iconic championship links with world-class practice, teaching, and leisure facilities. Guests who opt to stay on site can choose from a vast array of opulent rooms and suites in the iconic Station Hotel, as well as self-catering villas and cottages situated a short walk from the golf courses. Alongside a trio of exquisite dining options, guests can indulge in the much-admired Spa at Turnberry or chase thrills - which range from clay pigeon shooting to horse riding at the resort’s activity centre, Turnberry Adventures.
Nic Oldham, General Manager at Trump Turnberry, said: “Trackman’s technology has transformed practice and play at Turnberry, giving groups a new way to enjoy golf together, whatever the weather. With the new Academy Café, we’ve added a great social space too – ensuring guests have the very best golf experience on and off the course.”
