Your Golf Travel, the World’s Largest Golf Travel Company, recently sent a team of over 70 employees to The Algarve, Portugal, to experience the region’s renowned golf courses, gastronomy and beaches. The trip, which took place over 4 days, was part of a long-standing relationship between Your Golf Travel and The Algarve Tourist Board, Details Group and Ombria.

During their visit, the Your Golf Travel team had the opportunity to play some of The Algarve’s most prestigious golf courses, including Ombria, Laguna Golf Course, Palmares Golf Course and The Old Course Vilamoura. The day at The Old Course was made even more special with European golf legends José María Olazábal and Miguel Ángel Jiménez joining the team. Highlights for the company non-golfers included padel, yoga and of course some chipping and putting with a golf clinic at Palmares Golf & Ocean Living near Lagos to inspire them to take on the game in the future.

YGT also enjoyed exquisite dining experiences at top restaurants such as Bovino Steakhouse Restaurant in Quinta do Lago, Portugal’s first PuroBeach Restaurant at the Tivoli Marina Hotel and Louro at Conrad Algarve.

In addition to golf and gastronomy, the team explored The Algarve’s stunning beaches and enjoyed a Q&A session with Your Golf Travel’s Chief Tuition Officer and Sky Sports Presenter, Simon Holmes, at the Domes Hotel.
