The Golf Course at Adare Manor is named ‘Best Renovation of 2018’ by GOLF.com and re-enters at #25 in Golf Monthly’s Top 100

The Golf Course at Adare Manor is closing out 2018 on a high after being positioned #25 in Golf Monthly's Top 100 Golf Courses in the UK & Ireland and having received special recognition from GOLF.com as ‘The Best Renovation of 2018’.

Prior to it's comprehensive 18-month reconstruction at the hand of legendary golf course architect, Tom Fazio and his team, Adare Manor missed out on a Top 100 ranking with the world’s oldest golf magazine in 2016 and last featured at #98 in the biennial Golf Monthly list in 2013/14. As such, The Golf Course at Adare Manor rises to an all-time high following its transformation.

The Golf Course at Adare Manor sits alongside some of the world’s most renowned and celebrated golfing layouts at the upper end of the rankings, including all 10 of The Open rota courses. Golf Monthly commented in their review:

“Everything at the new Adare Manor is impeccable, from the stunning tee boxes that roll like greens to the white sandy bunkers to the phenomenal, world class green complexes.”

Glowing praise of the redesign and renovation also recently came courtesy of leading US-based golf publication, GOLF.com, which named The Golf Course at Adare Manor ‘The best renovation of 2018’. Both publications likened the conditioning and presentation to the best golf courses in the world; “Picture an endless green carpet of fairway grass, with no traditional rough, a la the home of the Masters,” said GOLF.com

The Golf Course at Adare Manor is a Par 72 measuring 7,509 yards from the Championship tees, but with many tee options for all skill levels. All 18 greens benefit from a SubAir Aeration System to remove moisture and guarantee firm play each day. It is the first layout in Europe to incorporate super fine Pure Distinction bentgrass, allowing golfers playing Adare Manor to experience pristine greens rivalling the best courses in the world.
