On the morning of September 19, at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, Hanoi, the Announcement and Awards Ceremony of "Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024", a meaningful event of the Vietnamese golf industry for Golf Courses and Golf Services across the country was successfully held. Prestigious titles were awarded to the most deserving candidates.
Prestigious awards of Vietnam golf industry
“Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards” - formerly known as “The Voting of Vietnam Best Golf Course”, was established in 2007. After many years of successful organization and receiving strong response from the Vietnamese golf community, the Awards has shown the attraction and prestige of a large-scale awards for golf courses and golf services across the country, aiming to promote Vietnam golf destinations and encourage golf courses to improve their services to better meet the needs of golfers.
Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards is initiated by Vietnam Golf & Leisure Magazine in collaboration with Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism, Sports Authority of Viet Nam, Vietnam Golf Association with a professional, strict and transparent voting and survey process, to ensure the accuracy and prestige of the awards categories.
The announcement ceremony and awards ceremony of the 10th “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards” this year was held at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, Hanoi - a classy and professional event venue in Hanoi. The careful preparation of the Organization Board has created a professional, luxurious and elegant Press Conference and Awards Ceremony.
Mr. Pham Tien Van, Chairman of Vietnam Golf & Leisure, Head of the Organization Board shared: “We believe that this year's awards will contribute to further promoting the development of golf industry as well as its related services, encourage golf courses in upgrading services, and promote Vietnam as one of the most attractive golf tourism destination in the region and in the world”.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Spencer Robinson - Chief Communications officer of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) also highly appreciated the role of the Event "Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards": “The role that miss vu van yen and her team have played since the launch of vietnam golf Leisure in 2005 has been a significant factor in helping to grow the game in vietnam and should not be under-estimated.These awards, in particular, shine a spotlight on vietnam’s ever-increasing number of world-class golfing facilities.
The special "venue" of golf industry leaders
The Announcement and Awards Ceremony had the full presence of the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism, Sports Authority of Viet Nam, Vietnam Golf Association, Vietnam Golf & Leisure magazine, especially the presence of the Chairman of Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh and for the first time the participation of the Asian Golf Industry Federation Spencer Robinson, Chief Communications officer, foreign golf experts and most of directors of golf courses, hotels/resorts, leisure and golf service brands nationwide. The event also had the participation of more than 30 press agencies, demonstrating the great attraction of this year's awards.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism, highly appreciated the awards voting method as well as the accuracy and prestige of Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards, and committed: Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism has been and will intensify the promotion of both general tourism and golf tourism to attract domestic and international visitors. Additionally, it encourages the development of golf tourism through the organization of professional tournaments and the enhancement of supporting resort facilities, including hotels, restaurants, and healthcare services.
Useful knowledge about golf and tourism development
The participation of foreign experts in this year's Jury includes Sport Insight - a company specializing in conducting surveys and evaluating golf quality worldwide and Mr. Ben Styles - Global Development Director of Group 54 - a global group with more than 200 experts in 9 countries, bringing useful information and valuable experience to those working in the golf industry.
At the Awards Ceremony of Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024, Sport Insight had an interesting presentation about the world golf tourism picture, this is useful information to help golf courses have a better orientation to promote and attract international golfers to Vietnam.
“Vietnam, a very small and new golf market, is now becoming known to many people for its high-class golf courses. The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism really needs to promote golf in key foreign markets such as the US/Canada, Japan, and Europe.”
In addition, Mr. Ben Styles - Director of Global Development, Group 54 also shared valuable experiences in golf course management and prospects for organizing major international golf events in Vietnam.

Honoring the best golf courses and services
Finally and most importantly, the “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024” officially announced the most deserving “owners” of 24 Golf Course awards categories and 22 Service and Entertainment awards categories.
Surpassing more than 60 qualified golf courses to participate in the Awards, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram was honored with the title of “Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2024”. In addition, the Queen Course at Royal Golf Course was honored as “Best New Golf Course in Vietnam 2024”. The courses that made it into the “Top 10 Best Golf Courses in Vietnam 2024” include: The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram, Hoiana Shores Golf Club, Laguna Golf Lang Co, Legend Danang Golf Resort, KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Royal Golf Course, Legend Valley Country Club, Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort, FLC Golf Club Ha Long.
In the category of Golf Services, 22 titles were honored at the awards ceremony, in which in addition to the awards for hotels and resorts associated with golf, the Organization Board also awarded to golf screen brands, golf club brands, fashion brands, car brands, banks, airlines, etc. that are favourite by golfers. This year, the Organization Board of the Awards has expanded the scale of this category with the desire to not only honor and promote golf courses but also companies providing golf-related services.
Vietnam Golf & Leisure is honored as the initiated organization in collaboration with Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism, Sports Authority of Viet Nam and Vietnam Golf Association to hold the event.
